VMAX – one year from its comeback

One year after its glorious comeback, the VMAX keeps on making history. After a successful three part introduction in 2008 consisting of an explosive press launch in Spain, market leading online reservation website and the press launch in San Diego, the VMAX has conquered the streets. After a decade of research and development VMAX came back as an all-new powerful state-of-the-art 1,679cc V4 engine providing 200 PS and 166.8 Nm of torque combined with Yamaha's finest and latest electronic engine control technology such as YCC-I and YCC-T. The development team also created an all-new low-profile diamond-type frame, which uses the engine as a stressed member in order to deliver the right balance of rigidity, which makes for excellent straight line stability – together with precise and sharp levels of cornering. All packed in a head-turning and forceful appearance. Owners of the original model – as well as newcomers to the VMAX world – agree that the new VMAX delivers an unforgettable combination of innovation and acceleration. There are only a few VMAX bikes available. Check out the www.new-vmax.com website and reserve your VMAX straight away. VMAX Clothing

Yamaha's engineers did their utmost to make the new VMAX a statement of both design and power, fully loaded with state-of-the-art technology. With the same spirit and dedication, Yamaha's designers created an exclusive VMAX apparel range that perfectly matches the appearance of the bike itself. This is due to the High Quality of the items and of course the distinguishable details like the original VMAX-logo and triangular aluminium VMAX emblem on each of the items and the VMAX hangtag that can also be used as a keychain. Yamaha's VMAX line-up consists of casual t-shirts for both men and women, with copper embossed VMAX logo's, a matching VMAX baseball-cap, a leather VMAX belt with VMAX logo embossed on the buckle and a leather men's riding jacket. This riding jacket (by Dainese) is equipped with CE protection so you can not only look cool, but also ride safe! With our VMAX apparel, everybody can recognize that you are a truly 'VMAX connoisseur', even when you are not on your bike! Find more information on our website or at your local Yamaha dealer.
