The Donington World Superbike round was a special event for two lucky girls who became the first successful winners to be picked for the 2009 Miss Yamaha competition. Beckie Jane and Kaleigh Fabien were the two chosen by the Yamaha Racing panel of judges and yamaha-racing.com visitors to represent the Yamaha WSB Team on the grid for the 2009 WSB round at Donington. The girls enjoyed the full force of Yamaha hospitality and the thrill of the start line next to Ben Spies and Tom Sykes as they prepared to race. The two girls also had time to have some photos taken around the track with the Yamaha WSB Team professional photographer, ensuring their visit won't be forgotten.

"We had a fantastic time," said Beckie Jane. "We want to thank Yamaha for looking after us so well and giving us the opportunity to be part of the team for the day, it was great to be there to see Ben win too!"

"It was pretty impressive to see how professionally team work and lots of my friends saw me on the TV!" said Kaleigh Fabien.

With only three weeks to go until the next round at Brno, would-be Misses Yamaha Racing are invited to get their entry details in quickly to be considered for the position for the Czech Republic.
