| The DP19 design competition has had a very positive response with some superbly creative entries on www.yamaha-racing.com. With just one more week until the contest is closed Yamaha Monster Energy Motocross Team's David Philippaerts has made a final plea for any more fun variations on his race kit (helmet and shirt) to be worn at Lierop for the Grand Prix of Benelux on September 4th/5th.
As you can see in this photo from his girlfriend Alice, the 2008 World Champion is feeling quite glum about his range of dress options and has asked any aspiring designers – particularly those who wish to see their vision on the track thanks to VIP entry passes to the Grand Prix in the Netherlands in September – to get their ideas on the page and uploaded to the official website. The closing date is July 21st.
